The RISCO eyeWAVE sensor features a compact design with the following main components:

• Protective Sensor Housing: Designed in white and sealed to prevent insects from entering and causing false alarms.

• Tinted Lens: Protects against white light, helping to prevent false alarms caused by strong light sources.

• Integrated Alarm Camera: The eyeWAVE includes a camera that allows users to visually verify alarms, enhancing accuracy and security.

• Lithium Battery: Provides long-lasting power, with a lifespan of up to 3 years.

• Processing Microcircuit with Advanced Technologies: Dual PIR sensors detect movement based on changes within the monitored area, along with additional technologies to minimize false alarms.

Operation of the Wireless Infrared Sensor eyeWAVE:

The eyeWAVE is equipped with a PIR (Passive Infrared) sensor with a wide coverage range of 12 meters, allowing it to detect motion across a broad angle and protected area. A key feature of the device is its integrated camera, available in VGA or QVGA resolution, which provides clear images to enhance verification when an alarm is triggered.

By combining the alarm sensor and camera, when abnormal motion is detected, the sensor triggers, the camera captures images, and they are instantly sent to a smartphone or computer via the app.

This camera and sensor can operate even in low-light conditions thanks to the infrared flash. The flash has a range of up to 10 meters, allowing clear image capture even in complete darkness.

The eyeWAVE event-based image capture system automatically activates when motion is detected, sending a series of images to a smartphone or web browser and storing events on iCloud. This enables users to remotely monitor areas and respond promptly to incidents. Additionally, the device can store images on the sensor until they are successfully transmitted, ensuring that no abnormal event is missed.
