Operating Principle
The MS-68 magnetic sensor operates based on the principle of magnetic induction. Inside the switch are two reed contacts; when a magnet approaches, they attract each other and close the circuit, sending a signal to the control system. When the door opens and the magnet moves away from the reed contacts, the magnetic force decreases, the two reeds separate, and the circuit opens.
