The CM52020 is a 2MP infrared Bullet IP Camera with PoE. Its advanced CMOS IR-cut filter with automatic switch (ICR) allows for clearer and sharper images in day/night viewing modes. It features smart infrared functionality with an IR range of up to 30 meters, making it suitable for outdoor use.

Faces remain visible even when close to the camera

One of the most common issues with standard IP cameras is that a person’s face becomes washed out (overexposed) when they get close to the camera, making facial details hard to see.

The MAG IP Camera is equipped with Smart IR technology, which adjusts the intensity of the camera’s infrared LEDs to compensate for object distance, preventing overexposure. You can still capture a visible face even when someone approaches the camera within 3 meters. This allows you to obtain useful video evidence in case of any incident.

The images below compare the night vision capability of the MAG IP Camera with Smart IR technology to a camera without this feature. Notice that when a person gets close to the camera, their face remains visible on the camera with Smart IR, whereas it becomes washed out on the camera without this technology.
